Default Do "health degeneration" hex spells stack?

For example, If I would cast parasitic bond (which does health degen -1/sec) and then cast faintheartedness (health degen -3/sec) would they combine to cause health degen -4/sec? or does the last spell replace the first? or what exactly happens?

Thanks.

All of it stacks.
But the max degen arrows you can have at one time is 10, same goes for regen.
So if someone had life degen of 20, he would only suffer from 10. But if healing breeze was cast on that person (assuming 9 regen arrows), the person would still suffer 10 degen arrows (since technically he still has 11 degen arrows).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Your perfectly right, but it is fun watching someone having max health degen. The monks will spam hb on the person, and still he dies. One of my fav combos w/ a group is poison arrow, immolate, conjure phantasm, bleeding (w/e may cause it), phantom pain, and so on.....you can consider them dead, as they won't be able to heal after having 10 points of degen, plus the other 20-30 points if someone were to put a healing spell on them.

Would a monk be able to help the person by casting martyr and then giving themselves an enchanment that gives benefits to healing for being hexxed/injured (assuming the mesmer didn't have shatter enchant)?

Yes, they would be able to. But one thing, the monk would be pretty damn close to dying, meaning you wouldn't be able to help many people, as you are busy just trying to stay alive.

Yes they do, but do it in style - well of suffering - rotting flesh = a minus 9 degen. add in a poison nova if you want to make it -10

I know that if two different characters cast the same life degen spell on a target then they do not stack. But, if say you have 2 necromancers each casting life transfer on a single target, and one necro has it at a higher level than the other does, does the higher level transfer take precedence over the lower one, or does the one that was cast first win out? Same goes for any variable level health degen spell like conjure phantasm. I've been wondering this for a long time but nobody can answer it, any help would be appreciated.

i know in the case of life siphon and such, both necros will get the regen from it, and i am pretty sure the stronger of the two will effect the target(for a short while you could stick life siphon on two or three targets and the regen would stack, but i am pretty sure they fixed that now)

That's a good question... although I can't help but point out that Conjure Phantasm isn't a variable-level health degen spell. It's always five arrows.

Melandru's Resilience! Takes the edge off the degen, most likely, and anyway with that much energy a monk would be fine. Even ten arrows of degen is only 20 health/second.

'course, you can't use Melandru's Resilience with Martyr, but that's what Draw Conditions is for...
